Basalt Fibre/Paulownia light core
The combination of Paulownia Light wood (sustainably grown) with Basalt fibres delivers an extremely light and engaging ride. Basalt fibers are made from natural, abundant basalt rock, making them a more sustainable option compared to synthetic fibers, they can be recycled, reducing waste and environmental impact. Generally less expensive than Carbon fibre they have a similar strength-to-weight ratio.
Constant curve rocker
Our constant curve rocker delivers consistent grip and rail pressure no matter the chop or gusts. Maintaining a constant rail/water contact no matter your weight balance this rocker has proved itself time and time again in both performance and comfort.
Metamorphic sizing
The Monker sizing covers all conditions and rider sizes with the smaller sizes suitable for Ladies and smaller riders, the mid sizes covering the general freeride range and finally morphing into an XL deck for larger riders and light wind conditions.
Multi Ridge and Concave Base Design
The multi ridge and concave base design encourages water to flow in a more efficient direction (enhancing grip and upwind ease and yet keeping that loose and lively feeling that is so much fun to ride) unlike regular channels that redirect the flow in a more radical way noticeably increasing drag.
