We are once again running our  trip but for all abilities, as long as you are at least a competent level and pref already up and riding on a directional board.
It is however possible to do this trip on a twin tip if capable enough in the surf.

This trip is all about the waves, it is not a flat water trip. However the waves are generally not big and as long as you are a reasonably competant kitesurfer you will love it.

We will be available to offer surf coaching on a daily basis, with our very own Marc@Blast 4 x Senior British Champion and Sarah@Blast regularly in the top three in the UK.

These are laid back informal wave focussed trips for like minded people.

Flight Price varies enormously depending on when it is booked

Quite a few of the group already confirmed will be doing all 4 weeks but 2 weeks is also fine.

Marc is 4 x British Wavemasters senior champion and Sarah runner up, so are well placed to offer coaching and also take video/photo's of everyone's memorable trip.   

Both Marc & Sarah have been to this area of Brazil most years since 2006 and have good friends and contacts in the area and know the best spots/restaraunts/accommodation etc

These wave coaching trips have limited numbers, keeping the places to a minimum (8 people per week) allows us to make the trips personal and ensuring you the very best experience available.

Flights will need to be booked asap pref by the end of February otherwise they may increase!

We will have 4x4 's and Beach Buggy's ready to take us to the best spots on the day, we will travel to approx. 2-3 different bases along the coast, starting in Cumbuco. Waves are typically between 1-4 feet so ideal for progression.

Conditions.... are ideal for waveriders as the winds are crosshore, very steady and warm, as is the water also. Brazil is one of the favourites for pro kiters looking for the perfect training ground.

On the last trip we used 5/7/9m kites and possibly a 12m for bigger guys, however most people would use mainly a 9m

   It all starts with the bottom turn!

So....This trip is all about going to the best wave spots you can find. Once we land we head to Cumbucuo for a few days to get into the swing of things, Cumbuco is the most popular of the kite areas in N.E.Brazil, it offers the very best waves, downwinders, restaraunts, night life and much more.

Then we head off up north to start our adventure.

We then head up the coast to stay in one of the very best pousadas on the whole coast. Here is another great location for surf and downwinders. 

After this we head way up the coast to the awesome little beach village of Jericocoara for one of the most memeroable downwinders you will ever experience. 

For the remainder of the second week we head back down south to Cumbuco and again have time to do some runs to other spots like Taiba & Paracaru which are amonongst the very best wave spots. That is the basic plan...and it 100% works! 

Just one stretch of coast we will be down winding, followed by our back up Landy

About North East Brazil

The north east region of Brazil is a beautiful place with untouched, deserted beaches yet great biodiversity. It has good weather all year round with an average annual temperature of 30°c (and a regular sea breeze) as it's close to the equator. Wind direction is cross/cross on shore with some places cross off shore.

It is not generally easy to hire cars in this part of Brazil and to be honest it can also be hard to organise anything, including travel!

North East Brazil's weather is generally tropical - with dry winters and humid summers due to the hot sun, therefore strong sunscreen and rash vests are advised to be worn.

The rainy season runs from February to May with a wind speed of around 12 to 20 knots. The dry season runs from June to January and the wind speed is 20 to 35 knots - but in theory the wind gets stronger the further up coast you go. The sun rises first in the whole Americas.

There is an array of activities for non-kitesurfers, such as horse riding, scuba diving, deep sea fishing, wildlife spotting to name just a few. It takes only 8 hours to fly from Europe, with daily direct flights from the main European cities.

With water temperature also around 30°c all year round, constant wind and over 300 sunny days a year the NE brazil is a perfect place to visit for a kitesurfer.

This is my second trip with Blast Kiteboarding, the first was to Morocco in the spring of 2023 and then Brazil in the autumn. On both trips Marc and Sarah were the exceptional hosts arranging accommodation, sorting transport and finding us great restaurants to eat in the evenings, plus all important coaching tips on our kiteboarding.
The Brazil trip for me was a life changing experience, it has to be one of the best kiteboarding locations in the world, famous for it’s downwinders, some days we covered up to 40 miles of coastline with consistent wind. Being able to continuously ride waves on a surfboard for that distance leads to a massive progression in your skills and confidence, it’s like riding an endless wave…. Add to that endless sun, ocean temperature like bath water, and being with a great group of friendly like-minded people.
More importantly it would not work without Marc and Sarah’s local knowledge and contacts in Brazil gathered over a decade, which makes the Blast Brazil Trip a truly exceptional one.

Just back from an amazing 4 weeks with Blastkiteboarding in Brazil what an adventure, Marc and Sarah go above and beyond to make sure everyone has a great time.
Marc knows how to help you achieve your goals and beyond,  I found myself doing 38 mile downwinders in huge waves within  a few days
Marc black mailed me into using a kitesurfing board and leaving the twin tip on the beach, and by my sixth session on the surfboard I managed a 20 mile downwinder.
Absolutely awesome, a few words and tips from the pro and away you go.
I cannot recommend Blastkiteboarding enough, this is my third adventure and definitely not my last.

Just back from and superb 2 week trip to Brasil.
Marc and Sarah, once again, mixed their magic to create a perfect wave riding trip.
Non stop winds, warm air & water make a good start. Add to that endless waves (of fun size rather than life threatening...but big enough for the occasional spectacular wipeout!), beautiful beaches & superb accommodation and you start to get the picture.
Marc and Sarah’s enthusiasm, local knowledge & contacts ensure that every day is full of fun/adventure, both on and off the water.
Somehow they also provide a catalyst to make the group get into a bunch of best friends, having fun.
I have been on countless trips with Blast and can’t recommend them enough.

I just got back from a trip to Brazil organised and hosted by Mark and Sarah of Blast kiteboarding.
I had the best time out there, it’s a fantastic location for surf style kiting and Mark and Sarahs enthusiasm for the sport was so infectious.My riding improved and i made many great friends and will no doubt return again.
The local knowledge Mark and Sarah have made the trip seamless and safe, packed with adventure and thrills.
