Acomodation is B&B and evening meals will be out in the multitude of local restaraunts.
Acommodation will be approx £600-£800 (not inc. flights)...it will depend also on one or two weeks.
Please remember this is a place suitable for all kiting abilities. If you've not had lessons yet you will be able to have lessons out there at the school we've linked up with.After many great group trips to Essaouira over the last few years we are now planning for 2023

REQUIRED LEVEL: This trip is suitable for all abilities, even beginners as we have access to a very good reputable school and the conditions range from flat to small waves depending on which end of the bay you kitesurf from.
The cost includes, flights (with transport for your kite equipment) transfers, B&B
*Flights will be booked by each person as per usual once we know the flight details we will be in contact with those that have paid the deposits.
Please remember this is a place suitable for all kiting abilities. If you've not had lessons yet you will be able to have lessons out there at the school we've linked up with.We now have some great contacts in the area to be able to offer everything you'd expect from a Blast Kiteboarding Trip. April/May is the ideal time to run a trip there as it's right at the start of their season so not too busy!
It will set you up for the coming season here.
On this trip we can offer lessons through the local school from absolute beginner through to advanced wave riding, we have linked up with the centre that offers lessons to the same level as we would offer ourselves, obviously we will be on hand each day also.
The winds are good and reliable in April/May but it's not too busy like June/July/Aug when it can be heaving, the old town Medina is like stepping back a few hundred years, you get the impression it really has not changed a lot.
The kite centres on the beach have lock ups for your kit so lugging it back and forth to the hotel. There are also plenty of cafe/bars right next to the kite centres.
There are also loads of other things to do as well as the old Medina...horse riding, quad bikes, surf/sup hire etc etcPlease note we run these trips soley because we wish to bring together like minded people in some of the best kitesurfing destinations worldwide!
Flights etc will be booked by each individual once we have the Flight Details which we will forward to those that have paid the initial deposit.

Trip will always be special for me as I finally cracked it and was able to kite!

Have known Marc and the team for probably 10 years now and trust them implicitly. Had been eyeing up Essaouira as a Kitesurf destination since taking up the sport 12 years ago and this year grabbed the opportunity to join Blast out there. Not an easy spot but the group have your back and by the end of the week I was kiting confidently and felt like my old self! Highly recommended trip in great company.

Just back from a 2 week kite trip to Essouira Morocco. Windy every day and a decent swell throughout the trip. Great meeting new people and sharing kite stories. The town is a great place to visit and explore. Everything was well organised and went smoothly thanks to Marc and Sarah. I’ll definitely be going on another Blast trip.

I went for one week in 2017 and that just wasn't enough...so 2018 I went for two weeks and it certainly didn't disappoint! We had fantastic conditions and only about a day and a half of no wind, which I needed to recover after 7m weather and big waves. Great trip and fantastic bunch of people.

Had an amazing week in Essaouira. It's a great destination - not just the kiting but also the town / landscape / people / culture / weather / food / etc - and going there with Blast made it especially awesome. It meant massively more time on the water & much less stress compared to going on a self organised trip and I also got to benefit from some invaluable wave riding coaching. Finally, they are just great people to spend time with, as were my fellow travellers none of whom I'd met beforehand. Marc, Sarah, Yury - can't thank you enough!

This trip was probably the best I have ever been on. The blast team Marc and Sarah have got these trips down to a fine art. Having never met the people I was on the trip with I was pleased to find everyone extremely friendly and accommodating. In fact they were the best. The kiting was epic learning new things every session with guidance from Marc. Even on the light wind days the time flew by as there was so much to do. The guys at explorer kite centre were the best, ever helpful and nothing to much trouble. Essaouira Morocco was definitely one to remember always. There are to many highlights to mention but to sum up people great, location great, kiting great and accommodation great. I could go on but I hope this says it all just wish I was back there now.
Price Value Quality - Would highly recommend doing this trip especially if you want more than just the great kite spot.

Just spent a week in Essaouira on a trip organised by Marc and Sarah, who are Blast Kiteboarding. I have tried to express just how good this trip was but keep running out of superlatives, I've also tried to write a balanced review but can't think of anything negative, sorry. Blast organised the trip from experience and the love of the sport which shows in the selection of the destination, hotel and kite surf station even the flight was selected to minimise travel time. The individuals on the trip had never met, however, by the end of the first day acted like they had known each other forever. The kitesurfing location suited everyone from those with little experience to the expert, with Moulay offering conditions deemed testing enough to hold a stage of the world windsurfing tour. There were days where the wind failed to show up, but after a quick discussion ended up filing the time horse riding along the beach, and taking a cooking course. At the hotel there was Yoga every morning and a cardio session in the afternoon, if you felt the need. The locals were friendly and created a safe environment allowing you to relax and roam the streets without being pestered to buy. If you are thinking of taking a kitesurfing trip I would defiantly recommend trying Blast first, although they only cater for small groups and are booked up extremely quickly.
