How you were able top hold that 9m down I will never know!
It was way too much for me on the 5m Carve and strapless surfboard so I then took the 7m Orbit out and was lit to the max for me.
RNLI shows it was between 20-40mph most of the afternoon.

Plenty powered up on the trusty old Renegade 5m with involuntary airs (landed some too yee ha) so who knows how Marcus held down a 9m. Secret pie eating?

What a great hooligan day.

I don’t think he realised due to the ear plugs but I literally flew over Jon and his kite at one point

 Was watching you both! Though I didn't see Marcus at all until he was going over me

Saw you getting a massive jump Marcus, as I was walking back down from the car park - dunno how much I missed but I think I saw three loops and you must have travelled over one hundred feet down the beach

I got 8.8m today - another PB.. other than when there was barely enough wind to keep the 12 in the sky, I think I've had one every session I've used the Orbits 8-)

Good work on smashing another PB 8-)

Yeah, I had a couple of big ones with some monster downwind travel. This is why it's important to learn downlooping as soon as you start getting higher in the air.

Awesome day, scared myself shitless on a couple of occasions! Talking of safety, something I was told years ago, as soon as someone catches my kite I unhook straight away, that way if the person holding the kite lets go for some reason the kite will go straight onto the flag out system (unless you’re riding suicide in which case you’re fucked) rather than potentially fall back into the power zone which on a day like yesterday would be very dangerous.

Question - do jumps count if you don't land them ;-)

As per James' post above; my PB is if I walk away safe from a session in conditions like yesterday. Good steer on the unhook technique one I shall now use especially when windy.
