Porthcawl RNLI Live feed

The Live feed at the pier is back up running, heres a reply I just recieved this am from them....

Hi Marc, sorry only just picked up this message! There seems to be three separate issues going! 1) The feed to the website goes down and has to be reset occasionally - I've asked our website developer to look at this and longer term he hopes to have a better solution for the data feed to the site. 2) We had an issue where the data wasn't uploading to the davis weatherlink regularly but I checked just now and it does appear to be updating every minute. (Typically this is the most reliable place to get the station info by downloading the Davis Weatherlink app). 3) We have two separate anemometers on our roof. Unfortunately the contractor placed these slightly too close together and as a result they occasionally get caught on each other and as a result the online one shows a consistent wind direction (usually East). The only way we can resolve this longer term is with a large cherry picker to move them further apart (but obviously to do so is costly). Luckily this only seems to happen occasionally and at present appears to be okay.

'...contractor placed these slightly too close together..' Clever! Good news though that you've had a response, hopefully they'll get it fully sorted soon.
