Hi everyone,

Newbie to kitesurfing after a lesson with Mr Blast. Looking for tips into wave riding and general progression, etc.. will answer any physio-related questions about dodgy shoulders and knees, but will cost you a launch!

Cheers,
Luke

Welcome to the forum Luke, what happened to you yesterday - it was good at Rest Bay after.

Firstly master the twin tip and basic riding then and only then think about the surfboard....don't underestimate how important this is. ;)

First tip is to (then) leave the twin tip at home for at least a dozen or so sessions on the surfboard.
Second tip is make sure to stay out deep enough that you don't rip your fins off!
