Kite setup experience

Postby Stuart88 » 11 Nov 2019, 20:42

Hi There,
Complete newbie FYI
I just flew a HQ rush 300 power school depower trainer kite for the first time. The wind was gusting from 14-30 and the kite was a nightmare to control. On further inspection when I was home the adjustable 3 bridal setting was out one Knot setting on each side from the factory! Would this completely unbalance of the kite like I felt it was doing or do you think it was more the excessive gusts and my inexperience?

Hi Stuart

14-30 sounds way to gusty so it is very likely not going to help. I'd suggest trying it again in steady winds with no obstructions up wind of you.
