Not hopeful right now. Aber showing 14 mph and not much further along the coast. Any eyeball at rest would be welcomed :?:

I’m at rest, the tide is just dropping of the rocks and the wind is around the late teens. Should be a good afternoon

I was just about to walk over to the last car to ask if he could wait till I was done but thought to myself that it would be ok. Anyway, will for sure do that next time. So many nutters out there. Felt fairly vulnerable.

They parked the car just so I could not see into the front but I saw two men. One big one. Not sure how much fight back I would have been able to do ; equipped only with a kitebar in defence I a frozen exhausted body:-) luckily I am fine. Hope they don’t do this on a regular basis.

Sigrid, I'm sad to hear of your experience, that's something that you shouldn't have had to deal with. I think I was the last kitesurfer to leave before you & would have hung on until you were ready had I known. Rest Bay always seems a friendly spot, but next time I'll be more aware.

Spoken to the police again and they are looking thru the cctv and said that the local officers have been made aware to increase patrols in the area. So hopefully that will be it!

Sorry that happened to you. Thanks for reporting is as at least something might get done about it and the rest of us can watch out for it!
