Rest Bay looks like it is working ok when accessed through the “Davis WeatherLink” app or website?

Also quite often the WeatherLink access to Porthcawl Boathouse is ok, when https://www.porthcawl-lifeboat.co.uk/live-streaming/ isn’t reporting correctly.

Probably not. Maybe on a Foil.

This info is from the Rest bay weather-station on Davis WeatherLink app. They also have a website.

I had thought about having a protective layer for the hull, but think I'll just 'get away' with a good UV top coat - https://www.easycomposites.co.uk/xcr-epoxy-coating-resin which will have a colour pigment in it as well. I'm still deliberating whether I'm having a polished finishing coat. One of t...

... My next board is a 25mm foam, I was going to cut the rocker in with a hot wire, but am now curious about heating the foam to create the rocker. I don't have the space to create a steam box tho' Cutting rocker in requires a very thick blank to start with or your back to laminating layers at the ...

Looking Good! You may want to consider a light layer of FG (200g) as the last layer one the base, just to protect that lovely carbon, especially if you're planning on sanding it smooth. For info (& your next board!) https://www.easycomposites.co.uk is a good source for materials (just watch the ...

I opted to NOT take a voucher (which I seem to recall was the only option if applying for a ‘refund’ on line) I waited until our flights had been cancelled and then requested a ‘cash’ refund by calling them. From the initial request I was told I should get the refund. Later I was told it was approve...

Yay! It took a while but a full refund (for last years non-flights) has just come through :D I Don’t know if it’s connected but I started a credit card dispute process last week an also called TAP again asking for an email stating refund status. TAP said there had been a delay for some of the Decemb...

I read an article this week about breathing through your nose. I wan't aware because I've never really given it any thought but it's how we were designed to breathe and is the most effective way of getting oxygen in your body, you are also filtering the air at the same time. If you practice breathi...

+1 Garmin Fenix 5. Can’t fault it (except for price)

If you’re into jumping the surfr app (https://www.thesurfr.app/) may be worth a look?
