I have the sliding rope version of this bar on the Mystic Hardshell and can say that this is the best combination that I have had. The riding up has always been an issue for me mainly I think due to my shapeless seemingly short torso  but this has been very minimal with this Mystic combination...

W/Ending 12th July

Ha yeah I have the app installed too but forgot about it so will have to re-visit it as I am also guilty of mowing up and down with the odd low level jump. I think it stems from having a minimum 2 hour journey to get to the beach and just want to spend as much time on the water upright  Als...

It's been such a bleeding long time I think I'm gonna need some lessons to get back into it. ;)

Watched some YouTube vids of 'Kitevanman' on his trip across Morocco through the Sahara to Dakhla, looked amazing. He is still currently locked down there on the beach with many other travellers but still having a good time.

Kite Inflate Pressure

Yes I think Plan 'A' makes more sense, and will proceed on this tried and tested method when next allowed to get anywhere near the open water.

Kite Inflate Pressure

A lot of kite manufactures give a 6PSI limit on their kites, I don't know anyone (apart from schools teaching beginners smashing kites into the sea) who would pump a kite to 6PSI. The last jumping clinic we managed to run Lewis Crathern talked about pressure. He said pump until you can't pump any m...

Kite Inflate Pressure

I pump mine way over 10 PSI. I don't stop inflating the kite until it's getting hard to push the pump any longer. Unless your kites are very old/in poor condition or you're going to be continually slamming it into the water/beach it's unlikely you'll damage it. As far as I know most if not all kite...

Kite Inflate Pressure

Just wondering what is the correct inflate pressure and how can you accurately check. I have a modern 6M which states 6PSI and when inflating with a pump with built in pressure gauge at 6PSI it seems very soft. In fact on the gauge the needle is still in the red zone  I recently saw a vid whi...

I wonder if the 60 mile travel restrictions are based on straight line distance or as per road miles?? Just trying to gauge if I can make it to the nearest beach

I have all of my yearly holiday entitlement now booked for the summer months with no option to amend until next year. Consequently I am hoping and praying that we will have access to beaches, and travel to them, lifted before then otherwise I will only have weekend options available. I guess all bea...

Work for me as near normal as possible for the time being, which is fortunate as Tracy is currently now out of work so at least we do have one income. Going to miss being at the coast this Spring/Summer so now hoping that we can get a good Autumn and some freedom to get about by then. Luckily we hav...
