"I have been kiting for the past 3 years. I was first bitten by the bug in Tiree where the beaches are deserted and the wind is crisp and clean. Its a preety cold place to spend a lot of time in the water though, so I ventured across the water to El Yaque in Margarita where I mastered it! I went back to Margarita and Coche a few months later as it was so so good. Its a great sport to do a bit of travelling with. I've kited in Perth, the Cocos Islands, Hurghada, Tarifa, Islay, Sete, Goring and Newquay.

We were really lucky with the wind last year and managed to get out at Lee-on-Solent most weekends and after work most days which is awesome. Its meant I have improved to the stage I can jump and back loop happily now."
