Just wanted to drop you a quick email to say thank you so much for the time I've spent with you so far!
To say I was totally blown away was an understatement! I'm trying not to make this sound like a testimonial but I had an absolutely amazing time even on my first day,even just flying you're training kite!
I was really impressed with you're hands on no nonsense,safe and practical approach to the day and the conditions that we had...which all lead I believe to one of the most fun,exhilarating and fun days I've had in a long time!
Now I've got that out of the way,you guys were great as well! And I can't wait to continue the journey!!

Were you happy with your instructor:
Yes, I was put at ease very early on, made to feel very welcome and this even extended to being invited out in the evening, which was very enjoyable. Also, during the course of the instruction I enjoyed learning about some of the history of the sport and other background information which helped to immerse me more into the activity. I found the tips on what to look for with equipment very useful and interesting. It has allowed me to find the gear that is going to be most suitable and hopefully help me progress more easily. I obviously really enjoyed the course and feel that it has given me a good grounding in the sport and a firm foundation on which to progress. Additionally I have been introduced to some very nice people and found some locations that I know are suitable for kitesurfing which is a real advantage. I still have a long way to go before I am skimming across the waves but hopefully this will all come good in time.
Enthusiasm of Instructor
Good, not over the top, but gave the impression of being genuinely enthusastic ! Safety First rate, I have had another lesson since, which fell way short of your level Structure Of Lesson Good, I liked the fact you were willing to adapt as the weather changed Delivery of Instructor Good, being a Windsurfer already much of the Safety stuff was already in my head, but I expected that. But I liked the fact that I was not bombarded with things to remember when on the water. Quality of Equipment used Fine, but what do I know ! Location Fine, beautifull Wales what could be better ! Would you reccomend I would reccommend you to others, and intend to have more lessons with you again. ....................................................................................................................................................................
As you are aware i've had several lessons with differant instructor in Wales and Devon. From my experiance i would put Blast right on top of the list. As i had knowledge on how to kitesurf i still felt that i learnt so much more from the day's tuition, and how it was presented.
But the main influance which stands out in my progression with kitesurfing with blast is the after help and service proivided with the forum and yourself when knowledge is required, i think this is where i have struggled in the past not knowing anyone in the sport, once the lessons are over thats it! But being introduced to people and equipment by blast has helped massivly in understanding the sport. Just like they say with driving (the real learning comes after you pass you test) 110%%%% all the way, good luck ..................................................................................................................................

Instructors always keen to see their students progress SafetyStructure Of Lesson Good. Instructors making sure students are getting as much practice as possible but also covering relevant theoretical aspects. Delivery of Instructor Very good. Explanations and advices were always very clear. Very competent instructors. Quality of Equipment used Very good quality and latest standard of equipment used which makes progress easier.Yes, definitely. Several locations available based on weather conditions. Were you happy with the explanations & demos:
Yes, the pace was good and as I had flown kites before we didn’t dwell on the trainer kite but moved quickly on to the real thing. Also, having been a windsurfer my understanding of wind directions and their effect is pretty good so again this was recognized and the level of instruction tailored accordingly. Sarah showed a great deal of dedication while demonstrating body dragging through the freezing surf, which is to be commended !
One of the nicest aspects of the weekend was the friendliness of the fellow kitesurfers I met. There was a real sense of community there and I felt instantly welcomed by all. This was probably one of the most surprising aspects for me and as a result, one of the most enjoyable.

Since the course I have found the forum you run is a great source of information and I keep track of the latest news by regularly checking the site. When I read the Sessions section, I am always jealous of you all who are able to get out so frequently but it is really useful to know where people are heading for the best of the conditions
