Should be down for 11.30..but keep a hobnob available;-) Big Q; if bigger surf, plenty wind and more onshore do I chrisen the carbon converse ? ...or smash the old verve around a bit ...mmm In my experience, the converse is not at it's best with on shore winds, unless it's howling. On shore it's OK...

The new 6G Epic's have arrived so can't wait to try them, plus we had a surprise delivery today from Peter Lynn, new model kite (10m) for us to test and report back on and it's not been released yet. No idea what it is designed for so it will be interesting to see! They are making a 10m again...

Yup, fingers crossed we may actually see a return to some sort of normal summer. Whatever happened to our sea breezes!? :?: We need an expert to explain the lack of sea breezes, I thought the hot conditions were ideal, but they never happened. Strange. Whose the pilot ;-) In the current prevailing ...

How to Foil

Great post: The joy of kitesurfing lies in different disciplines to learn to keep one motivated and engaged. Its not a 'one trick pony'. Progression have it spot on: I felt (feel!) the same way learning directional surfing; crashes, body dragging, loosing the board and generally looking like a numpt...

There is just the delay in movement from the kite, you always follow the kite, i.e steer the kite where you wish to go and follow it ;) Thanks fella thought that the case after your breifing on the course. Crazy weather at the moment. It may be micro climates setting up and more powerful sea breeze...

Great video's Mark..

Of interest you seem to have the kite turning right as you whip left. Is this pre steering?

Looks like you had more water time in a week than I get in a year (two years at this rate)..

Enjoyed the mix of local sights and kiting....
